VDO Tachometer to ROCAM

Please help - no idea how to do one of these connections on the ROCAM?
Can I use the Perfect Power XMS-L?

Ignore the second diagram. XMS-L does not have a tacho output so you will need to wire it up to the coil.

Pin 1 - empty
pin 2 - 12V
Pin 3 - ground
pin 4 - connect to negative side of coil

Like Muller said, tie into the coil negative. You can connect it directly to one of the ignition wires closer to the XMSL under the dash, yellow/red or white/red IIRC. You then just need to set the dip switches correctly so the revcounter counts the correct number of pulses.
