So my BIG question is where on this planet does one buy the seamless tubes?

Hi Jean,

Any half decent hydraulic shop will have them.

Otherwise you can go from the 19 x 1.6 seemless (Ron Champion book specs this) to a normal 25 x 1.6 round tube.

In many cases it seems the guys want the wishbones to buckle if they clip another racer rather than have awesome unbreakable ones and the chassis lands up getting bent :|

1) Scratch build - 20V blacktop & T50 box (done... but always tweaking)

I would not recommend that you used 19x1.6 tubing for your lower control arms. There have been several fatigue failures with that size tubing. You could use it for the upper control arm, because the upper arms carry less the 40% of the loads. You should also plan on designing the lower control arm bottom BJ attachment gusset so it incorporates a fish mouth on the inboard edge Vs a straight cut across the inboard side to prevent a stress ariser at the attachment points.
