Ford V6 Weber clean up and set up

Postby Redshift on Thu Jul 11, 2013 8:06 am

Hi All,

Here is a update on the engine side of things.
I have taken the engine out of the car and took the carbs off for a clean. It was in desperate need for a clean after 8 years of standing. There was more dirt and grime inside the carbs than on the outside of the engine. I really struggled to get some of the jets out, it was stuck in way too tight but after a long paraffin bath (overnight) it come loose.

I have attached some pics of the engine and carbs and will also post the pics of the finished product soon.
P.S. There has been a lot of construction happening this week and will post all of it when I get a chance.

Hi All,

And more pics...

This is the water choke port for the Webers (38DGAS), I had to clean all the corrosion off before I can fix it again.

The next will be of the fixed unit...
