update

fitted the gearbox and finished the engine mounts
fitted the fuel lines and fuel pump
fitted the water pipes, overflow bottle etc.
fitted the XMSL and wired it up
started with the rest of the wiring, but its taking a bit of time :(
just waiting for the starter motor then I'll finish the wiring

should get my pedal box, brake lines and rest of brake goodies this week then I can finish the brake stuff

also ordered a digital dash and fuel level gauge and got a battery cut-off switch and steering wheel.

I'm still holding thumbs for a 1 Jan drive around the block :)

Postby nelpd on Mon Mar 31, 2008 2:04 pm

so...

our baby boy was born a month before the due date and spent 3 weeks in the NNICU

and.... it looks like I am off to Aus in the next couple of months (the arrival of the little one changed our perspective a bit)

so.... not much have happened to the project...it breaks my heart to say it, but its for sale :-(

Hi Pieter

Sorry to hear about the little one and that you are selling up and leaving. Unfortunately I agree with your decision and if I had kids I would also be looking urgently about getting out of this \"country\".

Good luck with the process and future in Aus.
